We started American Equipment Sales & Leasing with a simple idea: buying a used truck shouldn’t feel like a gamble. Fleets deserve a dealer who knows the equipment, prices it fairly, and stands behind what leaves the lot.
Whether you’re looking to add the first truck or replace a fleet, we will guide you in selecting the best equipment at the best price.

For Brad Andvik, leadership isn’t just about managing operations, it’s about building relationships, fostering trust, and creating an environment where people and businesses thrive together. As General Manager and Wholesale Buyer at American Equipment Sales and Leasing Inc. Brad blends strategic insight with a grounded, hands-on approach, ensuring that every decision supports both the company’s vision and its commitment to our customers.
Brad’s journey in the retail and wholesale truck world has been shaped by a deep respect for the values of family-owned business—integrity, hard work, and doing what’s right for his customers. Wholesale Buyer
Scott’s career has been built around sales, leadership, and an understanding of what makes businesses and customer relationships work. A graduate of the University of Missouri, he began his career in the restaurant industry, where he developed a strong foundation in quality control, customer service, and team leadership. He later moved into sales and management with Enterprise, eventually transitioning into medium-duty truck leasing and gaining his first real exposure to the commercial transportation and logistics industry.
That experience ultimately led Scott into the heavy-duty truck business, where he spent time in management with Kenworth before shifting his focus to the wholesale side of used trucks and trailers. Today, he specializes in buying, selling, and wholesaling Class 8 trucks, trailers, and commercial equipment throughout the country, working closely with dealers, fleets, and other industry partners.
Scott’s approach to the business is centered on market knowledge, communication, and follow-through. He takes pride in understanding what equipment is worth, recognizing opportunities, moving quickly when a deal makes sense, and developing relationships that extend well beyond a single transaction. His philosophy is simple: know the market, communicate clearly, and do what you say you’re going to do.
Outside of the dealership, Scott enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Whether he’s on the golf course, outdoors, or working a truck deal, he appreciates a little competition, good company, and the relationships built along the way.
